By signing the 303030 Charter initiated by Beci, the City Climate Challenge partners, convinced that the city of Brussels needs to become carbon neutral by 2050, commit to sharing their resources, know-how, advice and innovations to join a dynamic aimed at reducing the Region’s CO2 emissions by minimum 30% in 10 years.

Why

Preventing climate change must be a priority at all levels of our society. Emissions reduction concerns all stakeholders of the new political landscape in Brussels, whether it is on regional, federal or European level. The new regional political makeup creates an opportunity to act right now for effective climate action by means of a new mode of collaboration between government, academia, citizens and private sector.
